In 2025, Damazo was named Vice President, Operations, tasked with enhancing PGT’s operational efficiency and revenue production. Damazo’s dedicated leadership, operational insight and motivating tactics continues to contribute to PGT’s overall success. Damazo is a graduate of Geneva College and a former member of the Pittsburgh Fellows program. Damazo was also a member of the American Trucking Associations’ LEAD ATA program.

Ajay Rupramka joined PGT in 2025 as Vice President, Dedicated Services, overseeing the company’s operations and sales efforts under PGT Dedicated Solutions. Rupramka has more than 20 years’ experience in transportation, successfully managing and expanding dedicated fleet operations at multiple companies. A graduate of Iowa State University, Rupramka also holds an executive MBA with a specialization in global supply chain from the University of Tennessee.

Cole Welham

Cole Welham, Vice President of Liedtka Logistics, has been with PGT Holdings for four years. Welham initially joined PGT Trucking in 2020 before moving to Liedtka Logistics in 2022. With Welham’s leadership, Liedtka Logistics has grown to become a dominant flatbed carrier in the Northeast, specializing in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Welham has a bachelor’s degree from Lycoming College, and he previously worked for a major carrier, bringing valued transportation and sales experience to PGT and Liedtka Logistics.

Drew Nichols

Drew Nichols began his PGT career as a Pittsburgh Fellow in 2016, working in the Accounting Department. Upon graduation from the Fellows, Nichols was hired full time as a Project Manager in Billing & Collections in 2017. In 2018, Nichols was promoted to Manager, Billing & Collections, and later in 2022, he was named Manager, Administration, adding Payroll+ to his responsibilities. Nichols was promoted to Vice President, Revenue Management in October 2024, tasked with strategically leading PGT’s revenue cycle and analytical operations. Nichols is a graduate of Geneva College and holds his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Sports Management. He stays closely involved with the Pittsburgh Fellows and is part of the Fellow Alumni Association.

Mark Mageary

Mark has more than 23 years of experience with maintenance management and business strategy in the trucking industry, effectively implementing programs designed to reduce costs, increase operational efficiencies, and streamline overall asset management. Prior to joining PGT, Mageary worked as the VP of Maintenance for a 10,000+ truck carrier, focused on developing policies to drive business growth, strengthen vendor relationships, and standardize operations. Mageary also spent over 13 years managing a large workforce through multiple shops across seven states, demonstrating his ability to reach audiences across a broad geographic area.

In his current role at PGT, Mageary works closely with our partner, Penske Truck Leasing, and other vendors as he oversees our maintenance operations and company assets. With Mageary’s guidance, PGT continues to enhance our driver offerings, ensuring that our Proud Professionals have quality equipment, minimal downtime, and reliable service.

Mageary holds an associate degree in business from the University of Phoenix and is a member of the American Trucking Associations Technology and Maintenance Council.

Paul Vargo

Paul Vargo has been with PGT Trucking since 1998, with positions in Project Coordination, Driver Recruiting, Business Development, Compliance, Risk, Insurance and Safety. Vargo holds education degrees from West Liberty State College and West Virginia University, spending time as a teacher, principal and athletic director for local West Virginia schools. At PGT, Vargo exemplifies our commitment to safety, leading our Risk and Insurance Department with his diligent focus on minimizing potential incidents. Vargo ensures that PGT continues to be one of the safest and most reliable carriers on the road.

Vargo is a member of Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), American Trucking Associations (ATA), Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA), U.S. Law Group and ALFA International.

Rick Simpson

Rick Simpson joined PGT Trucking in 2008, starting as a Fleet Manager and working his way through the company to senior leadership positions in Operations, Fleet Management, Asset Productivity and more. In his current role, Rick is focused on working with PGT’s Integrated Fleet Partners, guiding them to continued growth and success within our company. PGT’s Integrated Fleet Program provides opportunities for new and current fleet owners to expand their operations and grow through PGT. With Rick’s trusted leadership and extensive knowledge of PGT’s operations, he is a valued resource for PGT’s Integrated Fleet Partners. Prior to PGT, Rick spent over 10 years supporting his family business in transportation, working in various positions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company from the ground up. Rick was also an expert machinist for a local manufacturing company.

Bill Hershey

Bill Hershey has been a member of the PGT Trucking family for 18 years, starting as the Director of Special Projects. Over the years, Hershey has held various roles as the Director of Compliance; Business Development Director; Manager, Pricing and Contract Administration; General Manager Specialized Business Development; and most recently Director, Project Cargo Management.

Hershey has years of engineering and project management experience, including analyzing, designing, and implementing the processes and equipment necessary to enhance product quality, improve efficiency, and reduce lead-time. At PGT, he has contributed to some of our largest moves and most notable projects to date, including the Bechtel cracker plant in Beaver County.

Hershey earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. He is a member of TMSA and participates in various other industry associations under our corporate memberships. Hershey was the inaugural recipient of the PGT Trucking President’s Award in 2018.

Andrew Erin

Andrew Erin has been with PGT Trucking for over 10 years, holding various roles in Operations, Safety and Applied Technology. Erin is the Chairman of PGT’s Innovation Committee, leading PGT’s efforts to implement new, state-of-the-art strategies, technologies and equipment to revolutionize the trucking industry, and he was a member of the American Trucking Association’s LEAD Class of 2020. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in History, Secondary Education from American University.

In his current role, Erin oversees PGT’s Safety and Training Departments, driving our team to elevate our overall safety program and ensuring that we are the safest and most prepared carrier on the roadways.

Laurence Cox has been with PGT Trucking since 2010 after spending 25 years in various leadership roles within the steel industry. A Beaver County native, Cox holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Cox oversees PGT’s decarbonization efforts, ensuring a responsible use of resources throughout our company, and heads PGT’s Research and Development Department, managing our Future of Flatbed initiatives that involve experimental, proprietary and strategic projects.

Cox is a member of the AIST Transportation and Logistics Technology Committee and the AIST Material Handling Committee.

Luis Guzman

Luis Guzman joined PGT Trucking in 2004, holding several positions in Finance during his tenure. Guzman is a graduate of Robert Morris University, earning his MBA in 2009. A native of Ecuador, Guzman moved to the United States in 2000 and became a U.S. citizen in 2016. Guzman leads PGT’s financial management, overseeing our Accounting, Billing, Collections and Payroll+ Departments and closely working with our staff in Colombia. Guzman also helps maintain our partnerships with select vendors and Integrated Fleet Owners, contributing to the expansion of PGT. With Guzman’s guidance, PGT will maximize our company earnings and identify strategic growth opportunities, helping PGT reach new levels of success.

Gregg Troian

Gregg Troian has nearly 45 years of transportation experience, 40 of which have been spent at PGT Trucking, Inc. Throughout his career, Troian has held multiple roles in Operations, Business Development and Senior Leadership, including President and CEO of a large 3PL company. Troian is a current member of the PGT Board of Directors and has played a major role in the growth and development of PGT. Troian continues to lead the company through the Future of Flatbed® initiative, revolutionizing transportation with the use of innovative technology and zero-emissions equipment.

Troian has held elected positions in local government in Western PA, and was the past Chairman of Family House, a non-profit organization providing temporary housing for patients with serious illnesses. Troian was the recipient of the 2022 Heavy Duty Trucking Truck Fleet Innovator Award. He was also a member of the 2023-2024 Research Advisory Committee for the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) and currently sits on the ATRI Board of Directors. Troian serves as Vice Chairman on Pennsylvania Governor’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee through the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce, the Ryder Carrier Advisory Board, the Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania (JASP) Board, and the Aluminum Association’s Associate Member Committee.

Troian maintains memberships with the American Trucking Associations (ATA), American Iron & Steel Institute (AISI), Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI), Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA), Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), and Truckers Integral to Our Economy (TIE).
